Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, at Fullerton. She is well-versed in handling many of the firm’s matters including the preparation of petitions, verified supplements to clear probate notes and other related court filings involving decedent’s estates, limited conservatorships and various trust matters. She also assists the firm’s attorneys with the preparation of fiduciary accounting schedules and accounting petitions. Amy’s legal journey began as a legal assistant and paralegal trainee at an insolvency law firm where she learned invaluable skills assisting the partners, senior attorneys and clients in various business and bankruptcy matters. She is a seasoned legal professional with 10+ years’ experience. After a decade-long break to focus on what she believes to be her more important life vocation (being a mom and raising her beautiful children), Amy completed several estate planning courses through the Paralegal Program at UC Irvine. She is also a Notary Public and a member of the Orange County Legal Professional Association. Amy has successfully completed and earned her Certificate from the Professional Fiduciary Management Program at California State University, at Fullerton and is now ready to take the fiduciary licensure exam.
Amy has also participated as a lay director for the CRHP program at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish and subsequently became a founder/seed team leader for Dynamic Catholic’s Welcome 2.0 program at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Parish. She is also a member of the National Council of Catholic Women. Amy and her children live in Huntington Beach where she enjoys reading, spending quality time with her children, paddle boarding, kayaking and bike rides up and down the coast.
